Marriott International, the second largest hotelier in the US, aims to open 25,000 to 30,000 additional rooms worldwide in 2010, nearly 1,500 of which will be in the Middle East and North Africa, the hotelier’s president and managing director of international lodging told Arabian Business during an interview on Tuesday.
The US-based operator has 40 hotels in development in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) over the next three years, Ed Fuller, president and managing director of international lodgings at Marriott International said at the opening day of the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
