Plans for the Zighy Bay destination spa, which would be the company’s second worldwide following the launch of the concept in Thailand, last summer, are in the very early stages.
Six Senses was looking to develop destination spa properties along the equator, said Kilgariff, in locations such as Portugal, Morocco and Brazil.
She added that there were would also be expansion at the Hideaway resort itself, with plans for two more villas and an observatory tower similar to the one at Soneva Fushi in the Maldives.
Six Senses Hotels & Resorts is planning to develop a 44-villa destination spa — the first in the Middle East — close to its Zighy Bay resort on the Musandam Peninsula in Oman.
