Jumeirah Group, the hotel management company owned by Dubai’s government, will manage Meydan’s five-star hotel at the emirate’s horse racing complex.
The hotel has 285 room and suites, conference facilities, business centre and restaurants, Meydan said in a media statement.
Meydan on Tuesday announced the signing of a Letter of Understanding (LOU) with Jumeirah Group for the management of its flagship five-star trackside hotel, The Meydan. Jumeirah was appointed as a service provider to assist in the opening and launch of The Meydan, which welcomed its first guests earlier this year.
Since then, the hotel has seen the official opening of the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse and hosted guests of the 15th Dubai World Cup on March 27, 2010, the statement said.
